Our commitment to Touchstone Energy® means our employees work and live amongst the members they serve and that is extremely important in the name of service to the customer.
If some day deregulation occurs, customers will get calls from out of town electric marketers. We feel it's important to distinguish a difference in electric suppliers. We feel electric cooperatives are the best type, because they are owned by those they serve. They are local and provide excellent reliable and affordable services to members.

Mille Lacs Energy Cooperative and its employees are part of our communities. MLEC belongs to local chambers of commerce and area organizations. We care about our environment and show it by leading Green Touch activities and cleaning roadsides.
The employees of MLEC are involved in civic organizations, churches and recreational clubs.
