WildBlue Optimizer

The WildBlue Optimizer changes key settings on your computer’s Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers to optimize the Web surfing experience on WildBlue.

To download the WildBlue Optimizer, click the following link - http://www.trueband.net/optimizer. Choose nrtc_mac.zip if you have a Macintosh system or nrtc_windows.zip if you have a Windows-based system. If you need help with the download you should call tech support at 1-888-306-5501. After downloading,

Go to Tools, Click on Internet Options, Click on the Connections tab, Click on LAN settings, Uncheck the box next to “Automatically detect settings” Click Ok, then OK again. Then close the Browser and open again. This should speed up the connection process.

Note: To download the software, you must have PC administrative permission for your computer. If you have a network of computers connected to your WildBlue account, you can download the Optimizer to each computer.

If you use a web accelerator or other software that sets a proxy, it may interfere with the WildBlue Optimizer. If for any reason you would like to remove the WildBlue Optimizer from your computer, go to the “Add/Remove Programs” menu at the Control Panel to delete it.

Please note: Microsoft's Windows Defender (a download from microsoft.com for spyware) will erase the WildBlue Optizmizer and may slow your WildBlue system. To correct this, remove the Defender and re-install the Optimizer.
