Mille Lacs Energy Cooperative (MLEC) recently hosted its first-ever Tech Talk event, bringing members together for an informative and interactive session focused on navigating today’s evolving technology landscape.
The event welcomed a strong turnout of members interested in learning more about streaming services, Internet options, and choosing solutions that best fit their households. MLEC’s Fiber team led the discussion, providing practical tips and insights designed to simplify technology decisions and help members get the most out of their internet service.
Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with MLEC staff, creating a valuable open forum for discussion. Topics ranged from cutting the cord on traditional cable to understanding Internet speeds and selecting the right streaming platforms.
“We were thrilled to see such a great response from our members,” said Stacy Cluff, MLEC’s IT & Broadband Manager. “Technology continues to evolve rapidly, and events like Tech Talk are a great way for us to connect with our members and provide the guidance they need to stay informed and confident in their choices.”
The Tech Talk event is part of MLEC’s ongoing commitment to member education and community engagement, particularly as the cooperative continues to expand its fiber network and enhance broadband access throughout the region.
MLEC plans to host additional Tech Talk events in the future, covering a variety of technology-related topics. Members are encouraged to watch for upcoming announcements and take advantage of these opportunities to learn and connect.
