Concern For Community

Concern for Community

We're committed to serve our members and communities.

Living Our Values

One of the seven guiding principles for a cooperative is “Concern for Community.”
Cooperatives work for the sustainable development of their communities while
focusing on member needs. The most powerful way electric co-ops show concern
for community is through the essential services we deliver every day. The employees
and leaders of our co-op have a vested interest in doing what’s best for the community
because we are members of the same community. In addition to our day-to-day
efforts to keep the lights on, electric co-ops support the community through routine
actions, like donating to local organizations, volunteering at community events,
and educating the public about electrical safety.
